The newly named College of West Anglia Fury have been working hard over the summer in order to establish the club as a division 1 play off contender.

The title change is part of a deal which will see the the college as the training base of the club and a also a team entered into division 4 to provide a performance pathway for talented youngsters. The division 4 side will be based around the college side while also giving more experience to younger members of the senior squad.

Westerby "I am delighted to become part of the Fury establishment, I believe in James's (Bamfield) vision for the club and think we can establish ourselves among the very best in the country. "They benefited tremendously from being thrown in at the deep end and gained a lot of experience and confidence. I will be trying to tie down 3 or 4 more of last year's team over the coming weeks. We are also looking at 3 - 4 new players from the local area who would give us more depth than last season.

"All our players are improving massively with access to 4 practices per week next season, free gym memberships for all squad members and extra time for individual work we are trying to give our players the best. I can also confirm that we will be again be using USA select to recruit our import players after the success of last year with Lawrence Summers and Hank Rivers.

"I am still looking to add a British or EU player with size at 4/5 and point guard to provide better balance to the squad and will be competing in the Summer jam league on Sundays throughout July.
