29/11:   Results headlines:

Men’s National Cup: Manchester edge past Durham by just two points; Derby and Leopards cruise through; Holders Reading bow out at home to Bristol      Flowchart

Women’s National Cup: First defeat of the season for Leeds, as they crash out at home to Nottingham; Hatters and UWIC sail past Division 2 opposition; Flowchart

EBL 3: Dragons still unbeaten, and back on top in North;

Portsmouth dent Oxford’s title hopes in South; I’d swear they were still on the fixture list on Thursday, but Bristol Flyers II are now gone!

EBL 2 Women: Late starters Westside leap to second after just two games in Midlands/South-East;   

 

28/11:   Results headlines:

EBL 1: Derby warm up for tomorrow’s home Cup game against Arrows with a league victory in Sheffield; Manchester remain unbeaten at the top; Leeds see off Leicester in overtime, to leapfrog them into second place; Bristol squeeze victory at Mets, to climb to third;  Reading’s resurgence continues with victory at Taunton;

EBL 2: Durham go 5&0 in the league (and 12&0 in all competitions), while their nearest challengers Brixton lose their unbeaten record, at Mansfield, leaving Westminster to climb to second;

EBL 3: Eastside march on  unbeaten in South; Oxford see off Westside, to keep up the chase;

With Dragons not playing till tomorrow, Sabres take the chance to go top in North;

EBL 4: Bury, in the North, Birmingham Mets (Midlands) and Solent (South-West) all retain their perfect records;

EBL 1 Women: Unbeaten Leeds go back to top; Hatters keep up the chase;

EBL 2 Women: Mystics go 7&0 in North;

 Southend go down heavily in South-East;

 Guernsey leave Marjon adrift at foot of South-West table;   

 

22/11:   Results headlines:

EBL Men’s Shield, Third Round: Division 3 South leaders Eastside bow out at home to London United; Derby II end Birmingham Mets‘ saga, but two EBL4 teams reach the ¼ Finals - Worcester (who beat Portsmouth) , and whoever won between Southgate and Reading II;    Flowchart

BBL: Heat lead throughout, but have to cling on to clinch narrow victory over Raiders;     Table           

EBL 1: Disappointment for Derby as they suffer second defeat in two days, this time in a late tip-off at Leopards;

EBL 2: Brixton and Westminster both win well, to climb to second and third;

EBL 3: Dragons remained unbeaten as they thrashed Sabres in North (last night);

EBL 4: Hull slipped further off the pace in North, as they went down at home to Wirral; Undefeated Bury go back to top;

EBL 1 Women: UWIC go top (though having played more games); Nottingham keep up the pressure, with comprehensive victory at Sevenoaks;

EBL 2 Women: Stockport beat Hallam Hatters, to allow themselves and Manchester to pull away in North;  

Leicester Cannons go second in South-East;

Top v bottom is no-contest, as Birmingham extend their lead in South-West;  

Under-18 Men: Top four strengthen their hold in North Premier;  

Westminster are now the only undefeated team in South Premier, as Reading boost their standing by ending Solent’s unbeaten start;

 

21/11:   Results headlines::

EBL 1: In the meeting of the two unbeaten teams, Manchester come from behind to win a thriller by a single point at Derby; Leicester climb to second, as one of four teams on 3&1, as Leeds and Bristol both also win; Reading off the mark in the league at last;

EBL 2: Edmonton squeak a victory at home to Marjon; Medway Park slip to another home defeat - by just one point to Birmingham As;

EBL 3: No result from the table-topping clash between unbeaten Dragons and Sabres in North, but good news for both pacesetters is that defeats for Loughborough and Stockport leaves their nearest rivals on 3 losses;

Bristol leave Guildford pointless in South; Eastside stay unbeaten in seven;

EBL 4: Birmingham Mets stay perfect and go top in Midlands; Worcester climb to second;

Unbeaten Huddersfield go top in North; No result from Hull;

Barking Abbey beat South-East leaders Essex, to replace them at the top;;

EBL 1 Women: Leeds stay unbeaten at the top; Hatters and UWIC keep up the chase; Sevenoaks slip off the pace, with home defeat to Northumbria;

EBL 2 Women: Manchester edge low-scoring victory over Mansfield, to stay unbeaten in North; Stockport also remain undefeated;

Leaders Brighton & Sussex lose their unblemished record, as Sevenoaks II pick up first win in South-East;

Leaders Bristol Storm slip to defeat at Taunton in South-West;  

 

15/11:   Results headlines:

Patron’s Cup: Westminster win at Brixton to put out the Topcats, and send Plymouth Marjon to Durham in the semi-finals:

EBL 1: Leopards win at last - and end Leeds’ unbeaten start;

EBL 1 Women: The day after losing at home to Sevenoaks in the Cup, Barking Abbey pick up their first league points of the season - at home to the same opponents!     

EBL 2 Women: Preston have gone from North;  

U-18 Men’s Cup: Sharks avenge last year’s Final defeat to Manchester by putting out the holders in the second round; Oxford record the only “giant killing” of the round - against Milton Keynes;     

U-16 Men’s Cup: For the second round running, non-league Bucks Hornets dispose of Conference opposition;     

 

14/11:   Results headlines:

EBL 1: Manchester and Derby maintain their unbeaten starts; Tees Valley hit 100, but still lose at Arrows by 22;     

EBL 2: Durham stay clear with scrappy win over Birmingham Uni.; Mansfield slip up at home to Birmingham As; Westminster keep up the pressure with victory over Edmonton;     

EBL 3: Sabres pull away in North;

Eastside beat Westside to stay on top in South; Oxford keep up the pressure;     

EBL 4: Bury open a gap at top in North, with victory over second-placed Tees Valley; Huddersfield stay unbeaten, to climb to second;

Solent win the top-two clash in South-West, to move clear of Bognor;     

Women’s National Cup: Sevenoaks win at Barking Abbey (last night);

EBL 1 Women: Nottingham hand Hatters their first defeat of the season; Leeds stay unbeaten to take over at the top;     

EBL 2 Women: Stockport end Mansfield‘s perfect start in North; ;

Brighton & Sussex beat Southend to go clear in South-East;

Solent beat leaders Birmingham in South-West, to leave three teams on 1 defeat at the top;  

 

08/11:   Results headlines:

Men’s National Cup: “Perfect ten” for Durham, as they thrash Northumbria, to reach the quarter-finals for the first time; Brixton dispose of First Division London Mets;     Flowchart  I don’t know why the EB website was still showing “Result Awaited” for three Cup games, at 11.15pm!

Women’s National Cup: Nottingham thrash Wellingborough by 109; Holders Hatters stroll to 106-point victory at Cheshire;    

EBL 3: Sabres did win yesterday, so stay 2 points clear (having played a game more) in North;

Eastside go back to the top, in South, with fifth win in a row;

 

07/11:   Results headlines:

EBL 1: Leicester thrash Arrows, for their first Division 1 victory; Leopards fall to third league defeat in a row; Leeds halt London Mets’ perfect start, and move into second place themselves;

EBL 2: Durham stay perfect, to move clear at the top; Northumbria suffer a home thrashing by Westminster;

EBL 3: Derby II pick up their first league win of the season, in North; Dragons stay unbeaten, and go top (pending Sabres’ result at Leeds II);

UWIC win the basement battle against Guildford, in South; Oxford go top;

EBL 4: Gloster leave Team Birmingham as the only pointless team in Midlands; Coalville‘s unbeaten start ends, at Worcester;

EBL 1 Women: Hatters end Sevenoaks’ winning start; Leeds beat UWIC to become the only other unbeaten team, and climb to second;

EBL 2 Women: Stockport register huge win, to go top in North; an equally big margin of victory gets Sefton off the mark;

U-18 Men: Doncaster sneak a one-point overtime victory over Sheffield in Premier North;

 

01/11:   Results headlines:

National Trophy: Leopards beat London Mets at last, to keep the quarter-final race open until Reading play their postponed game against Mets (on 19th December);     Results/Tables

By my calculation (though there are some who disagree):

If Mets win, or Reading win by less than 15: 1.Mets; 2.Leopards;

If Reading win by 15 or 16: 1.Mets; 2.Reading;

If Reading win by 17-19: 1.Reading; 2.Mets;

If Reading win by 20 or more: 1.Reading; 2.Leopards.

 

EBL Men’s Shield continues to produce upsets, as Fourth Division Bristol Storm, Birmingham Mets, Reading II and Worcester II all put out Third Division opponents, while Nottingham Hoods came within a point of Derby II; Flowchart
