24/02:    As they begin to take shape, we have the "draw" for the U-18 and U-16 play-offs in flowchart form.

Senior Match headlines:

EBL1: Manchester and Worthing win again; West Anglia consigned to finish in relegation zone;

EBL3: London Met maintain their hold at the top of South; Hackney edge past Westide to stay in the mix; Towers stumble at Brixton;

EBL4: Derby win the top-three clash against Richmond London Utd. in Midlands/South, giving further hope to fourth-placed Wellingborough, who won again; Westminster stay out in front;

Wirral win to go third in North, ahead of WNC Mansfield, who lost for second time this weekend;

Guildford II climb into top three in South;

EBL1 Women: Hatters revive their title hopes, with 14-point home victory over Rhondda;

EBL2 Women: Sevenoaks creep even closer to play-off places in South; London Met go back to top;

Youth Match headlines:

Under-18 Men Premier: Leopards beat South-East leaders West London, but wins for Hackney and Sevenoaks leave them still outside top four;

Under-18 Men Conference: Tees Valley take the North-East title;

Under-16 Men Premier: Manchester confirm play-off place in North; Derby keep alive their outside hopes of the fourth qualification spot;

Under-16 Men Conference: Doncaster beat Leeds in North-East, to claim the remaining play-off place, but still need to beat Newcastle, next week, to snatch the title;

PAWs fail to turn up at Sevenoaks, for their fourth default of the season in South 2;

Wessex Warriors, in the South-West, are the latest team to disappear suddenly, with neither warning nor publicity! Revised Table. Abingdon beat Taunton, to edge closer to title;

Under-18 Women: Birmingham edge past Northants, to overtake them into second place in North; second win of the weekend takes Stockport a step closer to the title;

Under-16 Women: Plymouth held to six first half points at Solent, in South 1, and fail to score after the break;

23/02:    Senior Match headlines:.

EBL1:  With Manchester not playing till tomorrow, Worthing go top, and Reading stay in the title race and qualify for play-offs; Leopards strengthen top-four standing; Taunton pull out of the relegation zone, and into the play-off places;  

EBL2: Cardiff and Tees Valley both win to stay in control at top; Birmingham Uni qualify for play-offs;  NEWI win at Plymouth II to climb level with them, and with Kent, in the basement battle;

EBL3: Sabres dented Saints' title hopes in the North, in the Sheffield derby [last night], which must have scared Liverpool ... who failed to turn up for today's rearranged game in Sheffield!      Table

Worcester beat leaders Colchester in South; London Met take over at top; Westside dent Hackney's play-off aspirations, in a re-arranged fixture which didn't appear on the schedule until the result arrived!

EBL4: Sefton win by one at Mansfield in the North, to guarantee a play-off place; Stockport strengthen grip on second place;

Westminster fail to pull away in Midlands/South, as a broken ring postpones their game;

Portsmouth move to within one win of South-West title;

EBL1 Women: Solent end Hatters' unbeaten start! Northumbria beat Nottingham to climb above them to third; Sevenoaks win at Heathrow

EBL2 Women: Bury beat leaders Stockport in the North, to take over at the top; Hatters II move up to third;

Black Country Bears clinch the Midlands/South-West title;

Holbrook end Brixton's interest in play-offs in South, and enhance their own hopes; Enfield and London Met edge closer to qualification;

Youth Match headlines:

Under-18 Men Premier: Birmingham secure play-off qualification in the North;

Derby beat Doncaster Danum to close in on Midlands title;

Hackney move up to third in South-East; Leopards maintain their play-off aspirations;

Under-18 Men Conference: Liverpool and Tameside both win, in North-West, to keep the pressure on Preston for the one remaining play-off spot;

Notts Nova complete their fixtures, at top of table in Midlands, but Milton Keynes will take the title if they win at Worcester (already guaranteed third place) next week;

Torbay boost play-off hopes with victory over third-placed Dorset, in South-West;

Under-16 Men Premier: Derby's play-off hopes recede, in North, as they lose to Sheffield (who clinch qualification), while Birmingham win to strengthen fourth place claim;

Hackney and Solent clinch qualification in South;

Under-16 Men Conference: Durham beat Scarborough to complete their schedule, and qualify for play-offs in North-East; Doncaster must now beat Leeds (tomorrow) and Newcastle (next week) to snatch the title on head-to-head [which makes the difference between visiting the North Premier winners or hosting the North Premier 4th placed team!];

Milton Keynes lift the South 1 title;

Under-18 Women: Stockport pull clear in North with victory over second-placed Birmingham;

Under-16 Women: Southend and Haringey still neck-and-neck at top of South 2;

22/02:    Abingdon complete their fixtures, and clinch the U-18 South-West Conf. title ... off the court - as Wessex default for the fourth time this season!

Barry Huskies have disappeared from U-18 South-West Conf. sometime during the week!     Results chart amended

17/02:    Senior Match headlines:.

EBL Men's Shield:  Derby come from behind in 4th quarter to take the win.

EBL1: Manchester and Worthing both win again, to formally qualify for play-offs;

EBL2: Tees Valley move back to the top of the table (and guarantee play-off qualification) in the absence of a result from Cardiff; following defeat yesterday (reported today), Northampton win, to open an eight point gap over the teams outside the play-off places;  

EBL3: Durham miss the chance to go level with Mansfield, with defeat at Nottingham in North; result still "Awaited" from Huddersfield's crunch game at home to Dragons;

Result still "Awaited" from London Met's top-four clash with Towers in South;  

EBL4: Sefton strengthen their position at top in North as Mansfield crash at Wirral;

Wellingborough keep their outside play-off chances alive in Midland/South with 56 point thrashing of Bedford;  

The size of Portsmouth's lead at top of South-West can't be determined till Bristol get round to sending in the result;  

EBL2 Women: Solent II beat Taunton in Midlands/South-West to edge closer to play-offs.

16/02:    Senior Match headlines:

EBL1: Reading opened a gap between the top three and Leopards [last night - Report], and widened it with another win today; Worthing also win, to got joint top with Manchester (who play tomorrow) and ReadingBristol beat Derby to climb back to fifth;    Table    

EBL2: Victory for Plymouth Marjon, along with defeat for their neighbours Plymouth II, opens a six point gap between play-off and non-play-off places; Cardiff go joint top, as Tees Valley lose at Northumbria;

EBL3: Colchester move clear at top of South; Towers beat Brookes Oxford to replace them in second; lack of transport damages Hackney's play-off chances, as they default to Southampton;

Bradford Dragons open a gap over fourth-placed Sabres in North; Leeds Carnegie win at Mansfield, to secure play-off qualification for themselves ... and for Sheffield Saints, who don't play this weekend;

EBL4: Westminster go top of Midlands/South, as CoWA II default; Richmond London Utd. stumble in their promotion quest, at home to Omega;

Bognor edge victory over Reading II in South-West, to overtake them into second place;

EBL1 Women: Hatters hold off Northumbria and both they and Rhondda remain unbeaten; Nottingham climb to third; both Manchester and UWIC join the play-off qualifiers;

EBL2 Women Black Country beat Cardiff to move to within one win of qualification in Midlands/South;

Wins for London Met and Holbrook, and the absence of a result from Enfield's game at Westside leaves three teams level on points at top of South;

Under-18 Men Premier: 14th straight win edges TASIS closer to South-West title;

Moulton move to the edge of the play-off zone, with games in hand, with win at Coventry in Midlands;

Under-18 Men Conference: Bury beat second placed Liverpool in North-West, to go 16&0, and secure not only play-off qualification, but the title!; Preston climb to second;

Under-16 Men Premier: Hackney go top in South, after being gifted the points by Haringey's fourth default of season;  Leopards' play-off hopes take another knock with defeat at Reading ; Worthing  move up to fourth;

Women's Trophy: Sevenoaks Suns II emulate last year's success by their first team, to lift the Trophy, as Hatters II suffer their third Final defeat in four seasons;

BBL: Eagles stay clear at top; Guildford bounce back from Friday's defeat, but stay outside top four as Plymouth and Rocks also win;     Table    

EBL1: Manchester bring Derby crashing back to earth;     Table

EBL2: Leicester hand NEWI a potential relegation lifeline, as they default on their visit to North Wales, but Plymouth Raiders stay two points ahead of the drop-zone, as they surprise Northumbria;       Table

Youth Match headlines: Infuriatingly, at the end of a busy and tiring day, there were fifteen Youth results still awaited, at 10.00pm! Now (11.00pm) there are still seven "Awaited"

Sureshot U-18 Women's Cup: Haringey deny Manchester a fourth consecutive U-18 Cup victory;

Sureshot U-16 Women's Cup: 38 points and 20 rebounds from Christina Gaskin helps Southend to their first success in U-16 Cup;

Under-18 Men Conference: Northwest JAZ, in South 2, now qualify as "top" of our "Hall of Shame", with no less than six late results this season!

Under-16 Men Premier: Two wins in as many days, including one over local rivals Solent, consolidates Southampton's top-two status in South;

Under-16 Men Conference: According to the EB website, the South II game between Fortishead and East Kent is "Awaited". It could be a long wait, as the former pulled out pre-season.

03/02:   Senior Match headlines:   

National Trophy: Holders Reading cruise through against Arrows; Worthing set up a re-run of last year's game, as they return for a record seventh Trophy Final;

Patron's Cup: Men's Shield winners two years ago, now Northumbria reach their first Patron's Cup final, with thrilling single-point victory over Northampton; The Final will be a North-East "derby", in the North-West, as Tees Valley take a big victory in Cardiff;

EBL3: Leeds Carnegie did stay unbeaten at the top in North [yesterday], and stretched their run to 14 today; Away victories keep both Sheffield teams well placed in top four;

In the increasingly volatile South, the top two both lose (after winning yesterday), while the third and fourth placed teams (who both lost yesterday) both win; Two wins in the weekend lift Southampton to fifth; 

EBL4: The title race in Midlands/South is still a three-way battle, as Westminster
