Birmingham Athletics slip off the pace with defeat at home to resurgent Northampton; EBL3: Sheffield Saints keep up the pressure on the top in North; Sabres stay on fringe of play-off sport, after overtime victory at Durham; Towers were beating South; leaders Colchester convincingly halfway through third quarter, and looked set to take over at the top, but a broken ring led to abandonment; West Herts win at Southampton to move above them into fifth; London Met climb to second; Westside move off the bottom; EBL4: WNC Mansfield strengthen their grip on second place in North; Big win for Derby II in Midlands/South takes them clear at the top; In the absence of Reading II's result at Lambeth, in South-West, Marjon Cannons II climb into the play-off places; EBL1 Women: The top two played the bottom two, and predictably kept their lead in the table; UWIC keep up their challenge for a top four place, with victory over Northumbria; Manchester move into third after double overtime win at home to Solent; EBL2 Women: Each region now has one team confirmed not to be able to reach the play-offs. EBL Men's Shield: Division 4 Derby II win at Third Division Towers to reach the Final; Worcester II beat Bradford Dragons in overtime, to make it an all-Midlands, all-Second-team Final. Women's Trophy: Sevenoaks II reach the Final of the competition which was won last year by their First Team; Hatters II reach their third Trophy Final in four years; EBL1: Worthing take a narrow victory at Reading to go level with Manchester at top; Table EBL2: NEWI unable to raise a team, so Marjon Cannons take the points; Cardiff have to call off the second game in two days due to condensation; Birmingham Uni. narrowly beat leaders Tees Valley to open up the title race; EBL3: Colchester went top in South [yesterday]; EBL4: Leaders Portsmouth win at third-placed Reading II to remain unbeaten at top of South-West; Wellingborough keep their outside play-off hopes alive, with victory over Lambeth in Midlands/South; Sefton remain unbeaten at the top in North; EBL1 Women: Northumbria beat Heathrow, to strengthen their top-four status; Table EBL2 Women: Mansfield fail to make a move on the play-off places in North, with defeat at Northumbria II; Enfield scrape a victory at Brixton in South, to strengthen their grip on a potential play-off place; Youth Match headlines: A few of yesterday's missing results are in (and I would guess that at least a couple of the ones that aren't are actually postponements about which nobody's bothered to tell EB).
