FOUR PRE-CHRISTMAS GAMES ON EUROSPORT 2

17/12/05

Tuesday, December 20th ............. 6pm BREE v ARIS Salonika   &  8pm  LE MANS  v RED STAR Belgrade

Eurosport 2 viewers will have their first look at two of the very best players in the ULEB Cup, as Group A leaders ARIS Salonika come to Belgium to play Chris Finch's BREE .... last week's MVP was the Greek club's RYAN STACK, who posted remarkable stats of 29 points and 12 rebounds in the win against Alba Berlin - and that followed his team mate COREY BREWER'S performance the previous week, when he poured in 32 points and grabbed 6 rebounds against Lukoil Sofia. BREE will have to pay outstanding defence if they are to improve on their Won 3, Lost 3 record !

At 8pm (UK), Eurosport 2 returns to the court at which the first ULEB Cup game of the season was played, as LE MANS play host to RED STAR ..... this is a key game in Group D, as both teams have identical records - 3&3 !!

The following day, Eurosport 2 will screen two more games, and it really is a case of DO or DIE for WROCSLOVEK (Poland) and FRANKFURT ....... both teams are winless, so far, and only four wins in a row will give them even an outside chance of progressing to the Last 16 ! The Poles host VILLERBANNE,  (2pm UK) and the Germans entertain JERUSALEM (3pm UK).

The Eurosport 2 basketball commentary team of Roy Birch, Mark Clark, Mickey Bett, and Martin Henlan wish all of our viewers a Happy Christmas, and hope that they'll stay with us throughout the New Year as the ULEB Cup reaches what is bound to be an exciting finale !
