Follow this road for about a mile to a T-junction (with traffic lights).  Turn right, then first left onto Henwick Road.  After three-quarters of a mile, turn left onto the campus, just before the junction with the A443, Hylton Road

The sports centre is the large building beyond the rugby pitch and the entrance is at the left-hand end of the building.  There is a large car park on your right, just before you reach the sports centre.

HISTORY:

An earlier club, Worcester City Chiefs, were admitted to NBL Division 2 in 1994. In 1996, however, they moved to Solihull, and were promoted in 1997. Solihull themselves merged with Wolverhampton Adante in 1998, but withdrew in '99.

A new club, Worcester Wolves, was formed in May 2000 by Roger Clarke and Mick Donovan with its home venue at the new £2.5m ‘state of the art’ sports centre at University College Worcester. They were admitted into the new NBL Division 3 for September 2000, and finished as runners-up (to Bristol) in their first season.

Initially placed in the regionalised Division 2 in the "clean sheet reorganisation" of 2001, they actually played the first game of the season in that division before being elevated (ahead of Bristol) into Division One when Doncaster withdrew.

The excellent facilities and organisation which earned them that promotion continue to stand them in good stead, as they became firmly established in what has now been renamed EBL Division 2, and won promotion to EBL1 following an excellent campaign in 2003-4.

Two good seasons in EBL1 followed, with 4th and 5th placed finishes, and National Trophy triumph in 2006, and, just six years after joining the EBL, Worcester made a (late) decision  to move into BBL.

Retained Division 3 (South) status when EBL4 introduced in 2006.

Enjoyed a good run to the final of the EBL Shield in 2007-8, but could not replicate that form in the league, finishing in last place in the South, and dropping into Division 4.
