East Kent Crusaders entered EBL 3 East in 2004. Rapidly adapted to their League status, and finished third in the region in their first season.
With minor strengthening of the team, they won EBL3 South-East in 2006, and also reached EBL Shield Final. Despite defeat at the Quarter Final stage of the Division 3 play-offs, they secured promotion to EBL2.
Consolidated at the higher level in their first season, finishing ninth, ahead of three teams with more experience, in 2007, and retained ninth place in '08.
